Up for auction is my gti6 this is a reluctant sale as I think this car is fantastic and I have wanted one for years however it is not practical for me anymore. This car is completely standard with only 80,000 on the clock with loads of paperwork and the service book. Beginning of 2014 the car had some major work done on it like the head gasket was replaced and the head was sent away to be pressure tested and came back like new. Timing belt,water pump, all the pulleys and the radiator was replaced. Then later on in the year 4 new Pirelli tyres and disc/pads all round. Also had a new strut bearing fitted and rear bushes. This car drives fantastic pull well in all the gears. The bodywork is tidy for the age of the car (15 years old) the only thing I would do next is a refurb on the alloys. For sale is my much loved 306 gti6 the car is in overall very good condition.It has covered 84000 miles which is low for a car of this age, 6 speed Gearbox is tight and engine pulls strong through all the gears.It has been fitted with a upper front strut brace,pipercross pod filter and also has a 4″ exhaust with removable baffle.It is also fitted with a pioneer head unit and pioneer 6X9sdoor speakers in original fittings (parcel shelf hasn’t been butchered).No tax as new law states but has MOT till 14/5/2015. Hello there, Here we have a 1997 Peugeot 306 GTI-6 in good condition. The car was bought of an elderly chap who was very enthusiastic towards his pride and joy. Our intention was to find a healthy running GTI-6 with low mileage and a good service history – which we did. The car is mechanically perfect and was brilliant fun for our first track day at Brands hatch ( with not a single problem throughout the day. ) The car has been fully stripped out, with only the dashboard and front seats remaining. the drivers seat is Cobra race seat with a 5 point harness all in working order, and is good for anyone up to 6ft 3″. It also has an induction kit fitted to it. The rest of the car is standard. The tyres are Bridgestones at the front and Pirellis at the rear with plenty of tread left. Only 100 of these black Rallyes ever made. Peugeot cut the weight down by leaving out elec windows, elec mirrors, air con. Body is excellent, no dings, good paint. original decals. New rad and battery last year. Standard car except for sport air filter. very fast, 167 bhp. MOT failed on emissions, 2 small welds needed on floor pan, rear brake pads need replacing.Wear on drivers seat in usual place. Viewing welcome.

***Only 1500 miles on brand new Rotrex supercharger!!*** Sadly the time has come to list my supercharged 306. I really don’t want to sell it but I’ve recently got a company car and just don’t use it so here we are. I bought the car in October 2012 and it had been supercharged by the previous owner earlier in the year. I bought it on 84000 miles and it’s currently on about 94000. I actually put it up for sale last year and around the same time the supercharger started to whine. I got in touch with Rotrex and frustratingly the only option was to replace the supercharger. I spent £1500 on a new supercharger and oil cooler and this was installed earlier in 2014. Since then it’s done 1500 miles so the ‘charger is only just bedded in! At the same time I put Bilstein B4 shocks on with Eibach springs. It also had new discs and mintex 1155 pads.The exhaust is a really nice 2 3/4 inch stainless steel exhaust which cost the last owner over £500 alone. I had a Mitsubishi Evo 6 CAT welded in for the MOT and it comes with a decat pipe for the odd trackday. The last owner also had a reconditioned gearbox so that’s absolutely spot on. The tyres are great, the bodywork is good for the age though does have a few dings. I’m being as honest as i can to avoid wasting time, it’s in good condition but remember it’s 15 years old. Not 24 like my 205 gti, thanks for spotting the mistake. Really the only thing I’d do if I was keeping it would be to get a new drivers seat as the cloth on the side has worn through and ripped. Otherwise the interior is pretty good. As you can imagine, a 306 with 250bhp is incredible. With the rotrex supercharger it just pulls and pulls. I like it because it retains the powerband of the original engine but with more power everywhere. Being a centrifugal type it delivers more and more as it spins faster. I think this makes it more driveable and probably saves the clutch and gearbox from excess wear because it doesn’t just have a massive lump of torque down at the bottom, instead it simple feels like a bigger more powerful NA engine. *EDIT* Just changed the MOT date, it was March, not April next year. A few other points to note that I didn’t mention. It has an aftermarket stereo as you’d expect, the original is awful. It’s nothing particularly fancy, a JVC or something with CD player and USB slot. I replaced all the speakers with standard size Alpine SXE speakers, again nothing crazy. There’s also a very very small sub woofer in the boot, it’s one of those designed to go under the seat. Also it’s probably worth mentioning that the drivers side mirror doesn’t move on the motor, you have to move it by hand but who cares, you never move it. Finally, as with some of these supercharged cars it can stall if you let the revs drop from above 1500. You simply adapt your driving and dip the clutch later. A remap would definitely give a little more power (i reckon 265bhp) and fix this issue. On the power front I’ve heard there are lots of people running over 300 on stock engines with a remap and a smaller air restrictor. 250bhp in a 306 is enough for me though 🙂

306 GTI6 1997. Original Phase One, quite rare now. I’ve owned this GTI6 for 9 years yet in this time it has only covered around 25k miles.3 Previous owners. Full 3 inch Magnex exhaust Cat Back system [great sound and loud]Induction kit with Carbon surround.The rear has been stripped for weight saving.All Gear linkages recently changed. New crankshaft sensor, Replacement of front anti roll bar link bars.Manual fan cooling switchSpare KeyPaper work, previous service history. The 2.0 litres engine makes it a really fun car to drive. This combined with such a light weight shell and 6 gears for easy motorway driving makes it even better. I would suggest it’s suitable as a track car or a project should you wish to return it to standard. The engine is great and despite some of the cars cosmetic downfalls it runs nicely with plenty of power. It’s been on the drive for some time with a disconnected battery and periodically started up. I have just charged the battery and it started first time.I have the rear seats [good condition] for the buyer should they wish to refit them.Comes with a sleeve full of old receipts, MOTS and a stamped service book up to 146k – the car has been SORN for nearly two years and previous services done post 146k were not stamped. It has had the gear linkages all replaced only a few miles ago so shifting is great. Clutch is also nice and sharp/stiff. All tyres have a good amount of tread. Due to its age the car could use some cosmetic attention, it has a few faint scratches, front passenger fog light is not working, drivers seat shows wear, stone chipped bumper [normal things from a older car]. The heater matrix has been bypassed and of course as with these cars the air con is not working. However, after a good clean and wax the paint work really comes up nice and I will do this for the winning bidder before they collect. There is no MOT however it should fly through. The cam belt was done before I got it [around 30k miles ago] Overall a nice solid car, good for a track or tidy up project.
