I bought this 1999 V plate Peugeot 306 gti-6, last Autumn with the intention of doing some work on it over the winter and getting it ready for this summer. As usual though, not had a chance to look at it properly. I drove it into the garage with the help of a jump pack (the battery is knackered) and there it has sat since. The engine rattles, but I drove it home along the motorway. It was smoking a lot though, leaking a fair amount of oil from the rocker/cam covers onto the exhaust presumably. The car is complete though, it’s all standard, and these are fantastic little hot hatches when sorted. Please don’t buy this car if you think you’re just going to drive it. It will need engine work, maybe a little, maybe a lot. I have a jump pack here to get it started and it should drive onto the back of a trailer/truck. 1999 V plate. Diablo red in colour. Scratches on bonnet. It has no MOT. It has no TAX. Logbook says 6 previous owners. Viewings welcome prior to bidding, just give me a shout and we will arrange something. blaze peugeot 306 gti6 this is the 2.0 16v 167bhp 6 speed hot hatch mot till December excellent runner i purchased this around a month ago with the intention of building a track car but due to family commitments and funding i find myself at a point of realising it will either not get finished or never be used once done good points long mot good runner drilled and grooved disks all round gas front shocks white dials after market steering wheel stainless steel exhaust with decat good rear axle good half leather seats bad points abs light on believe nsf sensor central locking bounces(reopens itself when locking)believe broken wires to passenger side door passenger side window drops of runner when wound down various scratches and dents in body work worse being passenger front wing play in steering i think the ram is leaking fluid in all these are one of the great 90’s hot hatches with a decent power to weight ratio and great handling make these a super track day car or with a little time and money can make a fun daily driver that isn’t all that expensive to run or insure for the type of car it is im sure there is things ive missed both good and bad so i would suggest you come and view prior to bidding so you know you are happy with your purchase any questions or if you would like to come and view please ask and ill do my best to help all bids are final the car must be collected in 7 days and contact made within 24hrs unless arranged prior to bidding the price you win the auction at is the price you pay if you turn up and find things ive missed then its your fault for not viewing prior don’t like being short but we’ve all had the triers turning up

Here is my great little daily driver run around… 306 Gti6 – this is a great little car, loads of fun, lots of grunt and she handles beautifully. Peugeot were under pressure to find a replacement of the legendary 205gti and they hit the nail on the head when they brought out the 306 Gti6… This was the first car in its class to have a 6 speed gearbox, and the engine pulls really well… So well in fact that many enthusiasts use the engine from the 306 Gti and put in the old 205gti shell… Peugeot were also really crafty… When this car came out, they loaded it fully with luggage and people, with a full tank of fuel and then did all the timings for 0-60 etc… This means that the book times are actually slowere than real life times… This was to keep the insurance group lower for younger drivers and it worked…. The car is about a second quicker than is listed in handbooks and parkers etc, but the insurance is really low. I have used this car for 2 years as a daily driver and have loved every single minute of it… She is really quick, really comfy, very retro cool and pretty decent on fuel too. She also has some nice subtle mods: Scorpion Performance exhaust.. This has a great sound, but not too loud or chavvy while giving an increased performance. Looks awesome!K&N air filter, again upping the bop a little by letting the car breath more effectively. Tinted rear light clusterTinted side lightsColour coded bonnet badge (custom made)Colour coded rear tailgate latch (custom madeUprated radiator, replaced very recently. The interior as you can see from the pics is pretty much spotless apart from the usual rip along the seam on the drivers side lumber. There are however a few bits that need doing to get her back to tip top shape… Drivers side window is not not working hence the door card being removed as seen in the pic, and tape round the window. (Door card is present)Rust patch on rear tailgate. I usually just tape it over with some white gaffer tape which makes it look a lot smarter, but removed it as I wanted to show buyers the actual damage.There is some play in either the track rod or one of the suspension bushes on the drivers side which causes a slight clunking when driving on a really bumpy road… This only started recently and really isn’t that bad.The battery went flat, and after jump starting the car and using her again, the headlights now flash on and off for about 5 seconds when you open the door. The lights still work just fine otherwise. The mot has just run out on the car this month and on the last mot it did have an advisory about the steering rack gaitor/boot was perished but not to excess, I would imagine that this would need replacing by now for a new mot.

12 months mot, 126k but have a receipt for over 3k for a brand new engine from peugeot due to cambelt snap at 62k meaning that the engine has only covered 64k. Part service history. I have just replaced (all within the last 20miles) cambelt and waterpump, auxillary belt, spark plugs, oil and filter, fuel filter, droplinks, o/s ball joint and track rod end, o/s steering rack gaiter, 2 new front tyres, battery and a good secondhand axle. Clean and tidy, few blemishes to the bodywork as you would expect, drivers seat a bit worn and small fag burn to the passenger seat. Engine wise runs sweet, pulls well/doesnt smoke etc, power steering pump is a little noisy/whiney. Has a stainless steel catback powerflow exhaust and an aftermarket k and n type air filter. £1200 open to swaps/part ex etc aslong as its within ebay rules Any more info please ask!

Hello and welcome to my auction for my 306 GTI-6 in Diablo Red. I have owned this car since last November. I bought the car from a gent in marple close to me in his 40’s. He sold his Audi to a friend and took this in as a runabout whilst he did his house up. When I went to see it he had told me in April 2014 it had: – Bottom arms- Anti roll bar links- Front and rear dampers- 2 Tyres- Cam belt- Water pump- Full Service He Had no receipts for the work done so I checked the mentioned parts and as he said they had all been replaced. Upon looking at the paperwork he did have for the car it was evident there was no expense spared when it came to parts and services, the service history is only stamped up until 41,000 miles however there are so many receipts including £350 for an air con pump and re-gas, £660 for 4 x genuine pads and discs and loads loads more. The standard Cyclone wheels are in a gloss black and aren’t perfect however there are no buckles of big dents or kerb marks or any missing bits. The car comes with two keys, both with working fobs on them. There is a Dyno printout x 3 and a graph showing 172 BHP @ 6500 Revs. Since I have owned it I have done 5,600 trouble free miles in this and I have replaced the ball joints, anti roll bar links and track rod ends. The car is due for a service in 3500 miles however I can do this for free should the bid reach what I want for her. The two front tyres have very good tread and one rear had 4mm and the other will need replacing sometime soon. The interior is in really good condition for its age however the driver seat has the usual wear to the base and bolster. The car is fitted with a high end but dated head unit which has cd, aux, usb and radio connections and is plumbed into the original stalk on the steering column and also has a remote which is supplied. It has JBL tweeters on the mirror blanks, up-rated front speakers and JBL 6×9 speakers under the parcel shelf however these cannot be seen as they are stealth ( under the cloth on the original parcel shelf. I have recently fitted a Straight through exhaust to the car which has a sports cat and stainless back box and is in no way offensive and it just lets you hear the lovely sound the engine makes. I have the full Standard exhaust to go with the car also and a few other spare trim parts and a pair of phase 2 headlights from myu last car in my cupboard that can also go with it. With this being the Phase 3 model it benefits from the best bits including the Gunmetal centre dash and Clock surrounds, The colour coded side strips on the doors and rear quarters, no grey strip on the boot and the projector style clear headlights, I have had the rear lights tinted and glossed over also. There is MOT on the car until 08 June 2015 and it is currently taxed and insured and will remain this way as it is in daily use by myself, if you haven’t driven a GTI-6 before you should be aware they always have a heavy clutch but this doesn’t bother you after a day or two as you get used to it. I have had 3 and they are all the same in my experience and my friend had a HDi which was the same also! I love the car and wouldn’t sell it had I not just received 10 points which makes this car no longer affordable for me to drive with the insurance already being on the expensive side for me. 1997 peugeot 306 gti 6, 3-door hatchback in gold,for spares or repair this car is now becoming very rare to find – a gti with 6-speed gearbox the car was being used daily,but m.o.t now expired (02/04/2015) with tax left on the car,due to be renewed on 1st may 2015 the reason car is listed as spares or repair is that there is no clutch – i’m not sure if it’s the clutch cable that has snapped,or if it’s the clutch itself,but there is no resistance on the pedal at all because of this,the car does not drive and so will need to be towed/trailered away the car starts up and ticks over just fine,although quite loud (due to the knn air filter and the large exhaust) the interior is half leather and is all in good sound condition,although there is a small hole in driver’s seat – see pics the n/s wing mirror is missing,so will need to be replaced and the o/s wing mirror has the back plastic cover missing,although the mirror itself is present and in perfect working condition. as can be seen in pics,there are a couple of cracks to the lower part of the front bumper,which have been temporarily repaired with cable ties (i suspect this was done for m.o.t purposes) the bonnet has been wrapped in black and i notice there are 2 little dinks on the front part,but nothing noticeable car is all h.p.i clear, an up to date check result is included with car viewing of the vehicle is welcome before end of auction – please message me to arrange a convenient time the car is situated in coventry,on the A45 eastbound,near to coventry airport please only bid if you want to buy the car,as winning bidder will be expected to pay for/collect car within 4 days of end of auction
