*THIS WAS GOING TO BE A CLASSIFIED ADVERT PRICED AT £1250 BUT DUE TO POSSIBLY NEEDING A CLUTCH IT’S NOW ON OPEN AUCTION WITH £500 RESERVE* Peugeot 306 GTi6 road legal track day car for sale. I have had the car for two years, made it road legal and completed 6 or 7 track days at Mallory Park which have been brilliant fun, the car handles fantastically and will outgun a lot of other far more expensive machinery. (Look up V53 UBW on YouTube) The exact spec of the engine I am unsure of, I tried to contact the previous owner to get more info but he never replied, apparently the cams have been upgraded and the engine has been remapped with a full race exhaust and a nice forced induction kit, there’s an alloy catch can too if you’re after bling!(All I know is that when I was on the first track day there was another 306 GTi6 there running full racing slicks and the driver was about 6 stone lighter than me but could not keep up with this, I’ve also pitched myself against various Clios including Clio Cup spec cars (not brand new ones obviously) and none have been quicker than this ?) The front suspension and brakes are top spec, fully adjustable shocks including camber and castor, braided hoses, vented discs, EBC red stuff pads and running federal RSR track day tyres (road legal).The rear beam suspension has been lowered properly and is also running discs with EBC yellow stuff pads, tyres on the rear are also Federal RSR’s – these in my opinion are superior to Toyo’s and Proxi’s. Interior Interior has been mostly stripped (no front or back seats, no heater blower, no airbags, no radio) and replaced with two bucket seats and harnesses, steering wheel has been replace with an OMP wheel. BodyworkNot the tidiest, a couple of scuffs and a dink in the bonnet, it’s exactly as I bought it, it’s not a show car but is a bloody fast track car so I wasn’t bothered about it being a “show ‘n’ shine” contender!!! I’ll try and highlight her imperfections in the photos… SparesWheels and tyres, currently it has the cyclone alloys on the back with good tyres, steel rims on the front with good tyres, there are another 2 steel rims with OK tyres and then the original 2 cyclone alloys with knackered tyres, all the tyres are Federal RSR track day road legal tyres. Bad pointsThe only thing I can think of is a bit of clutch judder as you pull off but it’s always done this so I assume it’s because of an uprated clutch, it’s never been a problem as soon as you’re moving, also the car is a bit cold in winter if you’re using as an everyday car!!! I replaced the gearbox and clutch cable last year, all it really needs now is oil and filter changing for peace of mind then let yourself loose to embarrass folk who have spent faaaaar more money than you have ? (It’s only actually done about 1500 miles since the last oil and filter change). The only reason I am selling this track day wolf is because I’ve been bitten by the motorbike trackday bug so I need to buy a little van for my Fireblade (WHY?) Obviously no test drives unless you show me valid insurance, no warranty as its a track day car, MOT’d for 8 months so all you need is to tax (£20 a month) and insure it and then introduce yourself to the best fun you’ll have with your pants on! pug1off stage 2 195bhp kit. 86K miles
For sale is my Peugeot 306 Gti. The main reason that i’m selling it after five years of ownership and spending a fortune on it, is that I very rarely drive it now. (In the last year I have done 1119 miles visiting family once a month, just to blow the cobwebs out of it) I have got a van that is more economical for my 70 mile a day round trip for work. And the fact that i can chuck my dogs into the back of it without worrying if, it gets scratched is a real god send. I’ve just bought a MPV for my other half as we are expecting another child soon, this vehicle suits our family requirements. To be honest I don’t want to sell this car, and if i had the storage space to keep it and the time to enjoy it then wouldn’t be listing it! but needs must. It is genuine low millage. Overall better than average condition for a 17 year old car. Comes with 12 months mot, had no advisory’s. Type into google : MOT HISTORY CHECK / enter vehicle reg, & make to see millage history ect… It has been well looked after. I have old mot certificates going back until 2008 @ 40666 miles. Some old receipts of services before my ownership. Work carried out by pug1off in order of millage and receipts (71544 miles) XU10J4RS Stage 2 195bhp package cat cams 4903106, ecu remap to suit Revs to 7800, new cambelt & water pump £1316.10 plus the cost of the cams £480.00 I supplied a stainless 4-2-1 maniflow exhaust bought from spoox costing around £700.00 pug1off fitted it at a cost of £475.00. (Some info about this package from Matt jobbling’s website) independently dyno tested at 195 bhp and 155 lb.ft torque. Offering large amounts of additional power allied to strong mid-range torque and excellent drive-ability, the pug1off stage two tuning package represents a cheaper alternative to throttle body conversions and is lighter on insurance premiums too. I’ve owned a few 306 Gti’s over the years but this by far has been my favorite. It has got more mid range power than the standard Gti at 4500 rpm and this set-up’s power curve doesn’t really kick in until 5000 to 7800 rpm. Yes their are those of you on the Gti6 forum, saying that its not a bespoke ecu map & your right. But if you have got a budget to buy the Emerald ecu & jenveys then your half way their with this set-up for the stage 3 around 209 bhp using standard internals! (81305 miles) head gasket failed Pug1off refaced the head, rebuilt the head including valve lapping, I asked Matt for brand new hydraulic tappets as my old ones had a ticking sound so they were replaced. It also had a lightweight alloy bottom pulley whilst it was having the work done. Along with a new alternator belt. They also Fitted a new bottom hose and used evens water-less coolant. Total cost £1198.69 (benefits of using water-less coolant are, it does not boil at 100 degrees, their for it doesn’t put pressure on coolant pipes or fixings. It doesn’t cause anything to rust overtime where as anti-freeze breaks down over the years, eating away at things like coolant pump impellers, core plugs ect. It also will last the life of a vehicle) (83089 miles) pug1off reconditioned the rear beam and stuck a new clutch cable on it £442.14. Replaced with new rear handbrake cables, rear subframe mounts ( which i supplied i have a parts receipt of £162 for some of theses bits all genuine peugeot parts) Replaced the rear brake disc back plates and rear hub assemblies i cant find the receipt for these parts but you can see if you stick your head under the car! (86461 miles) pug1off fitted a 16 row oil cooler, thermostatic sandwich plate, and pipe work. Oil and filter change, Replaced top engine mount, replaced the front flexi brake pipes (which i supplied) replaced front to rear left brake line, bleed the system and a few other bits totaling £662.53 Also replaced on the car but not in order of when during my ownership! The car has got a new 2.5″ jetex exhaust which is the quietest system for the 306 (has a large middle box). the car doesn’t have a cat on it as its free flowing. £319.73 its not a boomy intrusive set up at motorway speeds.Within the last 500 miles its had new front wishbones, lower bottom ball joints new with vibra technics p-bushes and new drop links. £390.00 and had the tracking done.EBC grooved and dimpled front and rear brake discs with green stuff pads. (They have only covered about 1000 or so miles)Reconditioned front brake calipers, and sliding pins.pug1off short shift for be3 box and linkage rods.idle control valve £34.55OMP upper strut brace £98.46 Upper strut mountsFront and rear bilstien dampers. (black not the yellow ones) used ebaich front lowering springs (30mm drop).QH Front track rod ends £12.94Four Toyo proxes T1-R £168.23 still practicably new.Air-con removal kit around £100. (Same as the Rallye)Lower operating thermostat (82 degrees)Adjustable temperature controlled cooling fan switch.Two new 12″ cooling fans.Four genuine Peugeot new coil packs £170Pipercross air filter with a custom heat shield £120Injectors have been cleaned and serviced, to as-close to, new specifications as possible. Work carried out by injector tune 56.00.Uprated BM lower engine mount. Engine and gearbox mounts are standard ones as i didn’t like the vibration coming through the car with hard compound mounts. (created from the camshafts at idle) Also had a reconditioned gear box from Miles Horne @ pug racing i know this was at least £350.00The clutch had been replaced by the previous owner at around 60,000 miles, which was ever-dent upon replacing the gear box. Gas flown polished inlet manifold and throttle body.A Bosch lambda sensor £67.34Spooxs motorsport brake vacuum pipes. New Spark plugs around 2000 miles ago.Has an engine Oil and filter changes every 3000 miles.HID head lights and front fog lights.Peugeot rear parcel shelf blind.Peugeot boot tray.Spare is also a alloy.lockable Storm force car cover will come with the car £110 new. car comes with 3 x keys A4 folder full of receipts and the 306 handbooks I’ve probably missed items from this list, but overall its tidy for its age handles really well and still pulls like a train, it never fails to put a smile on my face. Like with any auction its always better to view a car before you buy to avoid any disappointment. The car is in Northampton for viewing, but this does not mean you are welcome to take it out for a free joy ride! Things that annoy me with the car The alarm siren doesn’t work (if your bothered about this you can pick up a second hand one from a Peugeot 206, for around £15.00, they are fitted inside the engine bay on this model and are not pron to getting wet! which is the common problem on the 306. Being fitted under the n/s/f wheel arch) The exhaust could do with re-positioning as it catches a heat shield i think, somewhere on the car when you put your foot down (in first gear) it has got a slight exhaust blow when stationary. When moving it cant be heard! it was not raised as an advisory on its recent MOT 55 MILES AGO! The rubber sheathing on the top and bottom of the ebaich springs look like they have deteriorated which cause a occasional ‘bong sound’ when turning at slow speed, as the spring doesn’t grip the metal spring retaining cups, (without the rubber compound in good condition) One side only has one section of rubber sheathing left on it, this does not effect the cars handling at all and as above it was not raised as an advisory on its MOT. Finally if you can zoom in ? onto picture number 2. To the windscreen on the passenger side just outside of the wiper blades path half way up the screen their are two stone chips Again not raised on MOT but they just annoy me. Up for sale is my Black Rallye. This car is rare as only 100 were made in black and just over half are left (Appox 52 left) The only reason I am selling is due to my job which demands I do lots of traveling (So will put some serious mileage on the car). Over the last 5 months I have put over 10k miles on it and its been great driving down the M4. Runs very well and is a reliable car. Service History: 18/06/2015 – New Rad switch 21/07/2015 – Two plates welded on the front drivers side floor pan by an experienced mechanic. 107,850 – All Tyres replaced for Toyo Proxies (Balanced and tracking done) 110,708 – Head Gasket Changed, Full Head set, Water Pump, Cam Belt, Tensioners and Full Coolant flush/bleed. 112,642 – Oil Changed for Millers and Oil Filter changed at the same time.112,891 – ICV Replaced 14/10/2015 – New Bosch Lambda sensor 17/11/2015 – Clutch cable replaced as it snapped 112,910 – Front Brake pads and disks changed for J-Hook disks and Mintex pads 120,132 – Rear Brakes changed (Pads & Disks) The car is completely standard apart from myself swapping the standard air filter for a aftermarket air filter. Being Honest: The car has some scratches and stone chips on the front, but all in all this is a well looked after reliable car – (even has the original cassette player). Also the engine has one noisy tappet that can only be heard when the car is hot, but nothing that effects performance or reliability but you can hear it when you wind down the window next to a wall.but it will be fine. Following the retraction of the winning bid by the account holder, on the grounds that his account has been hacked by an unauthorised user, Ha Ha, and same bidder also did same thing to other vendor of a GTI6, the previous day. I now relist my vehicle, and earnestly request bids from serious would be buyers, not people without the cash, or a hope in hell of insuring it.!!Owned by Peugeot themselves, and then one gentleman Doctor owner since 2001, Taken in p/x against my lovely Renaultsport Clio, and in need of some TLC. The car has been in regular use until 1st of July this year, it is sold for spares or repairs, with no warranty whatsoever. Having said that, my local garage advise that erratic tickover, which sometimes cuts out, or runs erratically, means the the throttle body needs cleaning, or replacing, The timing belt, tensioner, roller and waterpump which was replaced at 63000 is due for replacement again ,and the clutch cable, which is very stiff needs replacing or greasing.I am no mechanic, and the advice has come from my local garage, Nevertheless, this car is certain to join the classic list in the near future, and with some attention from the right man, will no doubt drive again as it once did. It has four good alloys with a few scratches on them, but no horrible gouges, and two of the tyres are very new, and two are worn on inner edge, but legal at this time I’m told. The interior of the car is full black leather and alcantara, all of which is in excellent condition. The car drives, and all gears , clutch, brakes and steering seem to be perfectly okay. There is no evident corrosion on the panels all around the car, there are a very few small stone chips on the bonnet, and some scratches on the passenger door. The car has several service stamps, and a folder of invoices, service receipts etc.together with the V5 , and an MOT to 10th of December this year. I have HPI checked the car, and it is clear in all respects. The buyer can have the written HPI certificate. I am starting with a low reserve, and have relisted this vehicle with a fair and honest description, in order that I sustain my valued feedback status, and deal fairly and properly with the transaction. Winning bidder should pay £50 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of conclusion of auction, and the balance on collection. Stunning example painted last year by previous owner nothing done to the engine cat back exhaust serviced last month interior could do with little things done i do not have time anymore with my new job fly door speakers previous owner said he changed timing belt last year but had no paperwork i had it checked and they said it looks new. Very fast car. Good tyres all round Raced a leon 1.8t 180bhp on track and i won and on the straight and bends. These cars are becoming RARE very fast especially with this low mileage. Hi. Welcome to the auction of my old road rally car. The car started out as my run around. Was a 306 XSi 2.0 16v. I the used it for a couple of track days and converted to a GTi6. I then converted to a road rally / Gymkana car. Unfortunately the GTi6 engine let go so I put a new XSi engine in which are stronger, this engine is still in the car it has about 90K on it. The car clock reads 130k ish. I have stripped the car down to bare she’ll in side and removed all the unneeded wiring. I have had the car started since and all lights/dash work. The shell is straight with no rot. I fully intended to get the car caged, tidy the wiring tidied up and do more track/road rally’s in her but I have too many projects and now a house to do up so she has to go. Parts still on the car: Sportex cat back stainless exhaust Pug sport rear beam 2nd hand to me Braided rear lines Leda rear shocks Tarmac rally spec Copper brake lines inside the car Hydraulic hand break Lightened shell Top end engine rebuild 4 years ago approx 4000 miles on this. Gearbox stripped and checked at same time ECU relocated and engine loom modified to run kill switch Battery box, jack and wheel brace in boot. No front brakes or suspension There is a dent on the roof where I had the bonnet come up once (hence the blue bonnet!!). The dash is currently out but will be supplied as well as the rear seats and door cards. The car is located just outside saffron walden. It is on a pallet and I can lift onto a trailer with a telehandler for you. I have the log book for this car I don’t have any more bits for this car than are listed and in the photos. This lovely little pug was my late father-in-laws. We bought it off him with the intention of turning it into a track day car (as hubby already has a 206 GTi track day car too and loves these cars). However, that was almost 4 years ago – unfortunately he is ideas rich and time poor lol. I did actually list this on ebay last year and put a new MOT on it to sell it (as I was sick of it being camped on my drive at home for years) – but it sold to some IDIOT from New Zealand who then realised that shipping was going to be expensive – no kidding! – and so now I have finally gotten around to relisting it and hopefully making some space around here. THEREFORE, DO NOT BID IF YOU LIVE ABROAD OR CANNOT COLLECT FROM EASTBOURNE, EAST SUSSEX. It has about 6 weeks left of the MOT I put on it last year. You can see the MOT cert in the photos and see that its only done 8 miles since the last MOT. It then did 15 miles in the previous 2 years, this is basically from my hubby starting it and pulling it in and out of the garage or taking to MOT only. We own a garage (HL Motors Ltd) hence lots of cars in the background of the photos as its now stored at work, not on my drive where I evicted it from lol, but as I say this is personally owned by us and prior to that my husband’s dad so its been in our family years. I have lots of service history for it. Obviously its not a new car but is in good condition for its age and will make a great track day car for someone who has the time for a project which my hubby sadly doesn’t. The interior is in good condition. I’m not sure what else to say – the photos should give enough info. 83285 is the current mileage. Leather and fabric interior. Please DO NOT offer us anything in PX. We do not need any more cars – we need to get rid of the excess of cars we have not buy any more lol. for sale , my Peugeot 306 gti 6 , this was my road car in 2013 , then after a heater matrix failure (by-passed )and the turn of winter took it off the road and used my other vehicle ,due to no heating ,and put in the garage . car has been stripped of most of its interior trim and insulation in readiness for track-days , only the 2 seats and the front door cards remain in place ,drivers seat has the usual tear in seat bolsters . elec. windows still work , sunroof still in place but was next inline to be removed and plated over , generally car in good only a dent to osf wing , was like that when I bought it a small surface patch under the roof aerial mount , nothing serious , and the usual parking dings and scratches , earlier this year in anticipation of the track-days a new valeo clutch kit was fitted and 2 gear selector rods along with renewed gearbox oil, 0 miles , and 4 new yokohama prado fitted , 0 miles car benefits from uprated lower engine mount front braided flexi hoses piper x cone filter kit full stainless large bore exhaust system , single box , although box has a slight internal vibration , includes decat pipe and cat pipe for mot upper front strut brace , resent p mounts a/c deleted , due to storage , corrosion to all brake discs , not too bad but ideally need replacing , would also advise a timing belt replacement before full berries applied , car starts first time , and runs well , engine cooling fan operated via dash mounted switched due to a wiring fault , no overheating issues .
