A professionally built, very competent track car which is road legal. Very quick and handles superbly. The car had a full engine service in October 2015 including plugs, crank sensor, timing belt, new battery, new Nissens aluminium radiator, braided fuel lines. Only covered about 400 miles since. Regrettably, it’s time to let my 205 GTI go to a new home due to lack of use and too many projects on the go to give it the attention it deserves. I’ll go into deep detail below but I’d describe it as a very useable, low mileage good history car with all of the expensive bits done mechanically (rear beam, full suspension refresh, professional engine conversion etc etc) but needing a bit of a freshen up cosmetically to get it 100%. It’s MOT’d and useable as is but would very much benefit from some time in the bodyshop. Shell 82,740 mile 89 (G) genuine 1.9GTI, very good solid shell but will need a drivers side wing and in my personal opinion would benefit from some paintwork (then again, I would imagine the same can be said for most of these now). Details below in the “bad bits” section. MOT until September 2017 so a full year. Engine 306 GTI-6 engine 76K miles fitted professionally by Pug racing on 09/05/2013 so has the proper re-angled manifold, loom etc . I have all of the paperwork and service history from the donor which I broke up personally so it’s a known good engine which does not tap (important point on these!). cambelt/tensioner change at the same time by Pug racing Total pug racing invoice : (not including cost of engine itself) £1016.83 Baker bros silicone hose kit including stat conversion to run the original stat with the GTI6 lump. Mocal 13 row oil cooler with thermostatic sandwhich plate to ensure optimum oil temperature. Ramair cone filter as recommended and fitted by pug racing. Original 1.9 numbers matching engine comes with the car if you wish to return to standard. Will need an alternator if you wish to refit it but is otherwise complete and was running perfectly when removed. Chassis Rear beam replaced in 2013 with fully refurbished unit from Jord294 (well known as the man to go to on the Peugeot forums) at a cost of £500 (not including fitting) all mounts replaced at the same time with OEM. New OEM front top mounts New Bilstein dampers front and rear Pi -35mm springs fitted Standard wheels with Yokohama parada 2 tyres all round with plenty of tread. All brake lines and rear brake compensators replaced. The car hasn’t even done 2K miles since then so it’s all fresh. Most parts where purchased in 2010 but only fitted in 2013 Security Toad cat 1 professionally fitted on with certificate Central locking for some reason is currently inoperable, presumed motor issue but once fixed, will unlock on the fob. History – It’s had 7 previous owners and I have owned it since May 2009 years. I bought it after it had been off the road for several years and recommissioned it/had the work done. History wise, although I’m not in possession of a stamped up book, I do have a file full of various invoices over it’s life along with the history of the donor vehicle from which the engine was taken. The not so good bits. Speedo has for some reason stopped working, you can see it was working as the mileage has been increasing (albeit slowly hence the sale) since the conversion. It will either be the cable or the sender. Neither are a big job but I don’t have the time to investigate. Central locking not currently working. Paint – The car would very much benefit from a respray. It’s not that bad but the doors have been painted (in my ownership – I replaced them with immaculate ones which I had painted) and are not a perfect match. The drivers side front wing is a pattern part which unfortunately has rusted from the holes drilled for the arch trim. Also the hole drilled for the side indicator is too large and looks messy. It’s bad enough to warrant replacement so please budget for that. The other side is fine and the shell itself is rust free, even under the rear seat and on the front panel where these are known to go. There are some parking dings pursuant to the cars age which I believe could be taken out by a PDR person. The pictures do flatter the paint, as mentioned I would budget at the very least a partial respray if you want the car to be immaculate if not a full repaint. I would prefer potential bidders to view the car to understand its condition, the car is by no means in poor condition but as mentioned it’s also by no means perfect. The fit of the front bumper is currently not 100% because I had intended to replace the wing so the support bars are not fitted. They are included in the sale though so will be easy to sort. Brand new driving lights are fitted but not yet wired up. The loom is present and correct so again an easy job. Interior isn’t bad but again isn’t perfect, the usual bolster wear on the drivers seat and some odd black marks one of the rear seat panels which I don’t think will come out. Seems to be some kind of adhesive spill. The rear seats do come up quite reasonably from time to time so I would be looking to replace that one section where I keeping the car. I’ve pictured the issue. As said, viewings before auction end are highly recommended. I’ll happily talk you around the car and take you out in it. If you are in any doubt, please come and view as you bid to buy, not view. Clearly, I cannot give any guarantees or warranty with the car. It’s been reliable for me but I cannot warrant future reliability as I’m not a professional. I’d be happy for any potential buyer to have a specialist/mechanic look the car over at my address. AS YOU CAN PROBABLY TELL IF YOU KNOW YOUR GTI-6’s THIS IS NOT AN ORIGINAL , I HAD AN ORIGINAL BUT THE BODY WAS ROTTEN SO I PURCHASED A LOW MILEAGE RUST FREE XSI AND SWOPPED OVER EVERYTHING LEAVING ONLY THE SHELL TO GO TO SCRAPMAN.The original car had 41k on clocks now 47k and the GTI-6 engine ran great had 100k now 106k. Whilst swapping out I replaced all accessable engine seals , new clutch , engine mounts , full cambelt kit , new Bosch alternator , sports manifold (wrapped) with Cat back sports exhaust (also have cat decat pipe not fitted yet) , Ramair induction foam air filter. The interior is in very good condition wit no rips or tears. Two Keys Rear lowered one spline,bearings in axle were checked and seals also when this was done, and 35mm lowering springs fitted on front All wheels refurbished Shadow Chrome (£300)with Nankang tyres – unmarked. New mintex discs and pads fitted all round. Underneath is under sealed. It hasn’t a stereo fitted but is fully wired to accept 3 amplifiers and speakers. I have loads of spares including front/rear bumpers , front grill , light clusters etc This is a very clean car. Stunning example painted last year by previous owner nothing done to the engine cat back exhaust serviced last month interior could do with little things done i do not have time anymore with my new job fly door speakers previous owner said he changed timing belt last year but had no paperwork i had it checked and they said it looks new. Very fast car. Good tyres all round Raced a leon 1.8t 180bhp on track and i won and on the straight and bends. These cars are becoming RARE very fast especially with this low mileage. Peugeot 306 gti-6 ph3 1999 T-reg I have for sale one of a kind 306 gti.i have owned the car for 1 year and spent a fortune on it but unfortunately due to daily commute to work i need to sell this little beauty… I will start with good bits: 12 months mot Mileage 114.500 New cylinder head and valves Clutch kit Timing & water pump All filters New thermostat New brakes pads and discs all around Body work in great condition for its age Folder full of receipts and I would say full service history Last service with all above stated was at 113.800over 1k spent in last 3 months Now the not that good bits : The usual non working aircon (uk is not one of the countries where u need aircon ) The driver seat has the usual wear and tear not that bad though Blowing exhaust (middle section might be sorted meanwhile depend on my time) Any other info please call/text 07479684206 Daniel

Here we have for sale my 1999 Peugeot 306 GTI 6.These cars are few and far between now. It’s rare to see a GTI 6, even rarer to see a genuine one in this condition with as few as 84279 miles on the clock. I purchased this car in its original state, since owning it I have made only a few modifications, nothing irreversible, meaning that the car can easily be put back to how it would have come out of the factory in 1999. The car has been lowered by 30mm with Eibach Springs on the front and a torsion bar adjustment on the rear. Fitted, is a DAB radio head-unit, linked to a pair of powerful Vibe Blackair speakers installed in the parcel shelf. Original GTI 6 alloy wheels sprayed black.The car has been very well looked after by myself with regular services and upkeep of general maintenance. Body work is in very good shape for a car of its age, the paintwork is in excellent condition with no signs of rust or lacquer peel at all.Interior is in good condition although driver’s seat (pictured above) is suffering from wear and tear.
