12 months mot which had done yesterday 115000 on clock private plate which stays on car, no knocks or bangs engine starts 1st time 6 speed gears all working car is well looked after have loads of mots and receipts to prove work too much to list. PEUGEOT 306 PEUGEOT 306 VERY RARE 2.0 LITRE PETROL XSI FULL SERVICE HISTORY 12 MONTHS MOT UNTIL AUGUST 2019 For sale is my trusty little Peugeot 306 2.0 XSI. Now a very rare car and bound to be a future classic looking at the prices of all ‘retro peugeots’! I have been all over the country in it and done numerous round trips of over 200 miles and it never skips a beat! I’d happily get in it and drive it to Scotland without even thinking about it! It is also extremely fun to drive! I have taken it to a couple of Peugeot events this year such as pugfest! Since owning it i’ve added a couple of extras. It now has 306 GTI cyclone alloy wheels painted black. It also has a half leather GTI interior. It is the tidiest GTI interior I have ever seen and took ages to find!! Stainless steel exhaust. It also comes with MOT until August 2019. With 12 months MOT & 306 values increasing every year this is a great buy for someone. It is the only 2.0 XSI I can find for sale on eBay and with 306 GTI values now being £1500 for a rough one and up to £5k for a good one, this is a great bit of fun for someone for well under £1000! Mechanically, the car is perfect. You can’t fault how it drives! Which probably has something to do with the full service history the car comes with! There are 10 stamps in the service book at the following intervals! 8k 18k 25k 35k 36k 55k 79k 98k 110k 111k The most recent service was a major service and consisted of the following. – Spark plugs – Oil change – Oil filter – Air filter – Fuel filter – Coolant drain This was done just 4000 miles ago. It’s incredible to see a car of this age that has been maintained this well! As with every 19 year old car, she’s a little rough around the edges. Of course expect to find scratches, stone chips and dents!!! As with all old peugeots, there is also bits of lacquer peel here and there! The main areas worth mentioning are: the roof… which has never bothered me as you don’t really ever look at it. also the drivers side rear quarter as can be seen in the photograph below. Please don’t expect it to be mint as it is far from. It is what it is. A couple of other points (Just being honest): The airbag light comes on sometimes, this is due to a connection under the seats and just needs the connection to be strengthened with some electrical tape. There is a slight blow on the exhaust. However, only very minor. Most people wouldn’t mention these two points but i’d like to be as honest as possible. I also have a mint Peugeot 205 Rolland Garros as well as a couple of other toys so i’ve just used this as a bit of fun. It would ideally suit somebody that would like to turn it mint. Or someone thats after a very fun and reliable run around. It is a lot of fun for little money and bound to go up in value in the future! £695 or very near offers considered. Peugeot 306 Rallye, has been parked up for 7 years. Ideal project car to restore to former glory, not many of these on the road anymore so a guaranteed future classic and the value can only go one way! As the car has been parked up for many years it will need a bit of sorting out to get it back on the road. A new battery is required but it started on a jump start and sounded perfect, no tappet noise, nice and smooth. I’ve only driven it a few yards but the clutch worked fine and it stopped too. I’ve not carried out a full inspection but viewing is welcome, visually, the drivers door has some corrosion (looks like its had a door skin at some point in its life) and the drivers side rear panel has some scratches that will need painting. Other obvious things that will need replacing are the perished tyres, possible brakes but may clean and the battery. Paintwork is flat but should machine polish up and interior fabric is in good condition but will need a good clean. The car will need to be recovered as there is no MOT and the tyres are perished and low. Sold as seen, no return or warranty. Viewing recommended in Newbury/Thatcham Berkshire A £1 start and no reserve so someone will get a bargain. A future classic and money earner! (No offers and the car will not be sold outside eBay) V5 document, Key, and some service history with the car.

Here is an opportunity to purchase a fantastic piece of motoring history, becoming ever rarer, this beautiful Peugeot 306 GTi 6! The last of the “real” hot hatches and only appreciating in value, following in the footsteps of the 205/309. This unmolested example is in very nice condition and it has clearly been looked after through its life, the portfolio of receipts, invoices and old mot’s is testament to this. Bodywork:I think the pictures speak for themselves, the bodywork is about as good as you will find for a car of this age, the only real blemishes are the couple of stone chips to the front bumper and bonnet. The wheels are in tidy condition with no kerb damage and are fitted with 4 nearly new matching avon tyres (not cheap budgets). Interior:Again, for a 21 year old car the seats are in very good condition with very minimal wear to the drivers bolsters, The rear seats look like they have not been sat in! the dashboard and plastic trims are all very good with no nasty scratches etc. Engine/gearbox:Thanks to the regular servicing and maintenance the 2.0 litre engine and six speed gearbox are in fantastic working order with plenty of power, starts first time every time no matter the weather or if it has been standing for a while. The engine is fitted with a proper k&n style air filter kit, and this is the only modification to the car. The cambelt has been changed within the last 12 months however I dont have a receipt but you have my word that it has 100% been done. Suspension:The standard unmolested suspension offers a firm, sporty yet comfortable ride with very good handling there is no nasty knocks/bangs/rattles etc. On top of all of the above, this brilliant little car is offered with M.O.T until feb 2019, I have the full V5C in my name and the car is totally HPI clear. Bad points: There are not many bad points about this gem but I wish to be totally transparent and honest with the listing, The cabin heater blower has stopped working which I will try to fix/replace over the next few days. Peugeot 306 S16 projectI bought this as a running complete car last year with the intention of getting a full respray and back on the road. I started to strip car ready for respray and noticed one of front chassis legs had a crease in it. The front bumper was damaged but didn’t think it had damaged anything else!! Its pushed back about 20mm so should jig out ok. I then bought a phase 1 306 xs 3 door with a siezed engine with the intention of maybe swapping all gear from S16 onto it. The xs body and paint are in good condition.But I am losing my storage space so unfortunately both cars have to go.This auction is for both cars and obviously they will need to be trailed/towed away. Everything is there for both cars but the S16 has been stripped ready for paint. Engine and gearbox ran fine before removal and I’ve had the rocker cover and coil covers refurbished (£100!) Interior on S16 is good condition with a bit of wear on drivers seat but not torn or ripped.The S16’s are getting rare now. (Rarer than rallye’s and gti6 according to howmanyleft.com) with only 11 registered on the road. (No 4×4, diesel or Clio 1.2s please) Proper shame to see her go but need to prioritise my business’s needs – can’t be taking fancy clients in a 306 in my field of work, unfortunately. Anyways, onto the car…since the car is SORNED (I only take it out for events like road trips and PugFest) I’ll be very honest so I don’t waste your time and you don’t waste mine, I’m an honest guy but I’m also very busy, and since this will most likely go to another French car enthusiast, I’ll describe everything to the best of my knowledge.If you want to do a 1000 mile trip with it tomorrow…it’ll take you there, hassle-free. It’s ready to drive away/ use as a daily if you’re not fussed about the minor faults. But being almost 20 years old, the car isn’t perfect, it does need a bit of work doing but there’s nothing that needs doing ASAP.MOT – Till 22nd November 2018 – no advisories on the last pass, may have a few this year although I don’t see how it would fail.Mileage – 108k with history, don’t have the service book – just a lot of old receipts (see video) – Logbook/ v5 booklet in my name – 6 former owners **Only one key** – the other key snapped in the door (all locks work fine though)Chassis – Nice solid shell, no rust apart from the expected surface rust, to my knowledge it’s never been welded or in an accident – I’ve had it up a ramp to check for any rust signs and all seems to be fine – you’re welcome to check it, lift it up etc, last owners were mechanics and all they cared about was the chassis condition so it’s pretty decent considering a lot are going rusty. Engine– 2.0 16v runs fine – please see video to hear it running & starting. Always starts first time. The battery is flat due to sitting on the drive but once it’s driven for a bit it’ll be fine. Recently serviced by myself approx. 1500 miles ago, done the oil, air filter and oil filter. Oil still looks clean. Does have a minor oil leak rear of the engine – but nothing has changed on the dipstick and it’s been on the driveway for over a month now. Engine light will come on after about 45 minutes – this is due to an uprated ECU done by AlienTech in Italy. No receipt on this, although if your Italian is good enough, you can probably get a confirmation from them. No overheating issues, holds temperature fine. Revs smoothly and sings after 4k rpm. Clutch – feels solid, no slippage – (if you’ve never driven one of these before, please be aware the clutches are naturally heavy)Gearbox – no whines but need to be gentle going from first to second at speed to avoid a crunch. Apart from that, no issues.Suspension – needs the top front right strut doing eventually (although may be engine mount – I’m not 100% on this) as there is a knock sometimes when going over potholes or changing gear too hard. Doesn’t happen all the time – but it drives straight and smooth over speed bumps etc. Interior – Decent for a 20 year old car I must say. A part of the driver’s seat will need welding if you want to fix the backrest adjuster. It is literally an easy 2 minute job for a welder, you’ll see why if you see the video– I haven’t sorted it because the position is fine for me and pretty much anyone else. Seat does move back and forward fine though. Exterior/ Other bits – paintwork is not great. Lacquer has completely peeled off on the roof and top of the boot – I’ve scraped most of the remaining bits off the roof. Please see video to see what I mean. Had planned to have it sprayed/ wrapped but was never a priority investment. Bit of a fading above the left headlight (see video) Deep scratch/ on the boot (see pics/ video) – could do with a respray at some point.Slight chip to windscreen – I’ve tried to fill this in, still shows, but in all the time I’ve had it – it’s never gotten worse in my ownership. It’s been noted on the mot history since 2008, never seemed to have developed. Driver’s side door check strap bolt broke off – so the door will swing wide – easy fix for someone with the tools but again, not worth my time, I just take extra caution – please see the video for this.Alloys/ Tyres – Please note that on the right side, the alloys are black – on the left they are original silver. Why is that? Well, I decided I wanted them black and then changed my mind. But no kerb markings.Toyo Proxes T-1Rs all round – they’ve probably done no more than 800 miles so plenty of tread. Please read this before coming to buy I’ve tried to be very honest as the car is SORNED – this means it has no road tax.Test drives: The car is located in South London. Plenty of police/ stop checks about so unless you’ve got proof of insurance or trade plates I can’t let you drive it without the cash in my hand and a receipt of sale. Other infoIf it’s an auction then I would highly advise coming to view the car before the auction ends. Car to be collected within 3 days of auction ending and sold as seen – no warranty applied, I’m not a mechanic. You’ve all seen what happened to the value of the 205 gtis – same will happen (is happening) with the 306 rallyes, and considering other 306 Rallyes in good condition have sold at around £4000+ in recent auctions with 100k miles on the clock, you could be in for a bargain. Anyone who’s able to spray the car and fix the minor issues should be in for some decent profit. But anyone who buys it regardless will be in for a treat on the B roads. I hate surprises when viewing a car so I’ve tried to be very thorough, but if you think I’ve missed something then please send me a message and I’ll get back to you asap. Speedo (only) gauge with something drop off but always comes back in a recent 2k euro trip I did into it maybe happen on 4-5 occasions.as use the car at weekend s it’s never really bothered me.i believe the Speedo drive sensors is on the gearbox and simple switch over. Odd marks around the car,everything you would except from a 20 year old car.but still say it is above average condition for the age and mileage.
