So, this ’99 plate 306 GTI 6 car has done 200k, which I believe mainly motorway. Engine only 70k. Pulls fantastic! Mint mechanical order as I have done all suspension, all brakes cambelt waterpump etc with genuine parts. Seats are rip free, ever so slight wear on leather to discolour it on drivers seat. Wheels unmarked as had them refurbed. Excellent tyres, brand new gearknob. Has a few dings and small rusty areas but still solid. Set at standard height. Genuine exhaust system with a slight blow. Fans kick in as they should. Central locking works but not off fob. Would benefit a clutch cable as common fault this one has dried out slightly. Mot till September 27th 2019. If you buy it, I’d do an oil change and fit new plugs, as that is only thing I haven’t done. Thanks for looking

This is my rare 2000/W Peugeot 306 D Turbo, possibly a future classic as you just don’t see them around these days. Styled the same as a GTI-6 with the same interior too it looks the part but has the bullet proof 2.0hdi engine (last cambelt change in 2016). It returns a solid 50mpg no matter how you drive. This car was originally a Motability car registered to my late cousin. He passed away before the 3 year agreement was up and the car was purchased by his dad (my uncle). He then gave then gave the car to my Mum, (his sister). I remember the day mum brought it home, it was immaculate with only 34k on the clock!It has remained in our family ever since with both my sister and I “inheriting” it over the years. I got my hands on it after my sister had it for a few years. If I recall correctly it was 2010 with around 90k when I started using it as my daily driver. The car has now done 154k, 15 stamps in the book, MOT until August. It has been parked up since September last year when I took delivery of my new car, however it has been started regularly and this morning fired up instantly. I will be sad to see this car go as its been in our family for 19 years and we all feel some sentimental attachment as it first belonged to my cousin. However its been parked up at my parents house for months now and needs a new home, hopefully someone who will do the little things that will bring it back to its former glory. As you’ve probably guessed by now it isn’t without its faults! The clutch started slipping at 134k miles. I have managed another 20k since and as long as you don’t floor it under load its still perfectly drive able. Please note the clutch is very heavy. The speedo drops out occasionally, it will last a few minutes then come back to life. Sometimes it wouldn’t happen for weeks then it would happen 3 times in on journey. I was told it was a sensor on the gearbox. Rear wiper doesn’t work. N/S door lock doesn’t work, You can lock in from the inside and it fine but as soon as you use the remote key to open the car it doesn’t unlock, only the drivers door and boot does. There is a large crack in the top of the windscreen, its been there for around 11 years! The windscreen is also covered in scratches from a previous family member thinking its ok to use the wipers when they actually need replacing. There’s car park dings all over the bodywork and slight damage to the NSF wing, please see photo. The paint on the bonnet is poor, it looks like its cracking all over, would benefit from some paint but some people might not even notice. The wheels are all corroded, common on these cars, but not a kerb mark in sight! Only one key, the spare went missing 18 years ago. Since being parked up it has developed a fault with the brake light switch as the brake lights are now always on. There’s bound to be some other issues that I’ve forgotten about as I haven’t been using it for the last 6 months. All that said it has been a hugely reliable car over the last 154k miles, its never let any of us down and still sounds as good as it did all those years ago. 306 gti 6 in Astor grey (rare colour). Not many gti 6 on the road now.Engine: Cambelt and water pump done less than 1000 miles ago. Strong engine, non tapper. Serviced regularly with genuine parts and lots of paperwork with the car. I have painted the engine cam covers, inlet manifold, fuel rail etc to tidy up the engine bay (see pictures). K and N cone filter.Suspension: Poly bushed wishbones and new ball joints,Peugeot partner p push, b8 bilstein shocks and eibach lowering springs with new top mount/ bearings and drop links ( rear beam lowered to match- no camber issues) with bilstein group N 205 tarmac dampers Tie rods and track rod ends changed.Baker bm gearbox mounts and miles uprated gear linkages. Light clutch no judder from flywheel, recent gearbox oil change.Un curbed cyclones in black with 4 matching Yokohama parada spec 2 tyres with good tread.New mintex discs and pads all round. Hand brake cables changed.Scorpion cat back stainless exhaust.Tear free seats, refurbished leather gear knob and gaitor as can see from pics. Gti 6 mats including boot mat.Aftermarket head unit with dab radio.Exterior: Body work is very good for it age. Has had new genuine door window seals colour coded spoiler.Black mask headlights.Mot till April. Mileage is 169000Bad point: Front bumper would benefit from respray. Reluctant sale always wanted a 6, hardly driven due to work van and mrs has a car. These are going up in value monthly, supposedly only 27 on the road now. 306 gti6 122k.
