Here is my Phase 1 GTI6 Had this since last October but with 2 other cars this isnt being driven. These cars are rare with only 100 or so phase 1 GTI-6 left and to many enthusiasts Sigma is the colour to have. It is a 1997 P reg with no AC and electric sunroof. The previous owner built this tidy example. It was a rolling shell 3 years or so ago with 48.5k miles and he spent 18 months transforming it into a tidy complete and almost factory standard car that is a very rare sight nowadays. It has just 52321 on it now and the engine fitted (approx 90k miles) had a new head gasket and slight skim approx 1000 miles ago costing over £500. The interior is excellent, the paint on the roof is faded a little with a few small rust blisters that are barely visible and whilst the paintwork is not mint, it looks lovely after a polish. £200 was spent at Pugfest a few years ago having all the dents removed. It is lowered slightly and handles great. I have some standard ride height front springs that are included in the sale. A lot of parts were satin black powder coated during the partial rebuild including the airbox assembly, spare wheel cradle and hook, battery box etc. The underside has no rot that these early cars often suffer from. So the refurb consisted of : New-ish Peugeot exhaust (1000 miles of use before I bought it secondhand), new cambelt/tensioners (top and bottom)/water pumpRefurbished wheels (some small less than 5p sized powdercoat has come off 2 of the wheels) and new Uniroyal Rainsport 3s now with 6mm of treadRefurbished drivers seat and all seats are rip-free Hole-free parcel shelfRefurbished gearknob90k mile engine from a phase 1 GTI-66 speed phase 1 gearbox with no noises or crunchesAll calipers rebuilt and painted in off-silver gold to replicate the zinc pacifate but more resilient to corrosion These new parts were fitted too: Rear badges, Abs sensors, Catalytic convertor and lamda sensor,Handbrake cablesBosch battery, Rear lights, front and side repeaters Discs/pads all round,Clutch and gearbox bushes, New Bosch wiper blades,Engine mount/bushes,Radiator and cap,Dealer front mudflaps,Stainless steel bulkhead heat protector,Idle control valve,New front wishbones,Both door mirrors,Rear brake disc protectors, It also has :Headlight protectors and driving light protectors, both rare period accessoriesBluetooth period Pioneer head unitGTI-6 embroidered mats and boot mat (not cheap!)Front armrest The car was MOT’d last august and passed with no advisories. Ive probably drove 200 miles max since i bought it Not so good bits: Small amount of blistering on tailgateNo service history (lost by owner before the car was stripped of it’s interior and running gear)Paint on roof faded and a few rust bubbles visibleRear wiper stopped working Car sometimes judders in 1stRevs drop sometimes, ive replaced with a new battery and idle control valve but still happens now and againAll in a great phase 1 GTI-6 that turns heads and starts conversations at the petrol station even though it is relatively modern. Selling my much loved ( and first car! ) Peugeot 306 GTI-6 1999 in Nile Blue. It still drives great, starts 100% first time and sounds ridiculously good when you want it to. Despite the shabbiness i still get comments about it! The car comes with a folder full of history but is a bit spotty. • 115585 miles • MOT Till August 2nd 2020• Has an electric sunroof ( rare i think )• Has a usb sony stereo and 4 speakers• 2 keys I bought this car in 2006 and its been with me during most of my adult life. It *was* spotless but several years ago i moved into a house with no-off road parking and a terrible drivers….trying to keep on top of dents and scrapes became a joke. And as much as i like the look of these cars…its nothing compared to how they drive so it still made me happy! i even bought another nile blue 306 to use as a donor car but didnt get around to it, im selling it too! fancy a project?!! : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/peugeot-306-gti-6-NILE-BLUE-1998-currently-sorned/114210770593 The car could do with some serious TLC now and i’m in no position to give it. Other issues with the car are : indicating right sometimes failsthe speedo goes up to max and dont come back downtop of gear knob is broken offthe bumper around one fog is broken but i still have the lens intacti dont think the aircon worksthe digital clock resetsthe boot button is sticky oneheadlight lens cracked interior front seats are ripped as seen I’ve run out of photo space on here so will upload to another site here more images I’m honestly not into the mechanics side of things so i cant tell you a lot about other stuff. I know it’s lowered and i know we got a refurbed/remachined rear suspension or axle part that is common to fail on these cars. All in all a really nice useable classic. You can drive this away – its been SO RELIABLE the entire time i’ve had it. No bidders less than 20 feedback, bid to buy not negotiate price. viewings are welcome. I’m near ipswich, suffolk. feel free to ask questions, anything i cant answer i’ll put them to my regular mechanic. I have another 306 gti 6 that i’m going to put up for same – its nile blue too and i was going to use it as a donor car. I’ll add the link to that shortly. Peugeot 306 GTI 6 For Sale I bought this car to be a donor car for my day to day runner here 306 GTI 6 Nile Blue With MOT but circumstances mean i have to sell both of them. I don’t know much about this car. I bought it without an MOT. It’s currently SORNed. I never got an MOT on it as i wasn’t expecting to be running it. It’s been sitting in my drive for 18 months but i’ve kept it moving with occasional drives up and down a private road. It started fine last month. I have a folder of paper with it with some invoices and MOT certs but that’s it. You’ll need to TOW this away – it starts but is currently SORNed. I am selling my much loved Peugeot 306 GTI-6 1998 in Nile Blue I’ve not had the vehicle very long. I bought it as a car to tidy up. When I originally bought it it needed some TLC to get it back to its former glory. I think it has turned out really well and I have all receipts and invoices to go with all the work I carried out. The car comes with a folder full of history andpaper work to show it has been very well looked after. As well as, • 127,000 miles • 12 Months MOT • Full service history • The wheels have been freshly powder coated and look stunning. • A full service along with timing belt & waterpump• New brake discs & pads all around• 4 new tyres (Nankang NS2-R) • Cutch cable• Track rod ends on both side (and tacking done)• Steering rack gator• Full polish & valet The only negative points I can make about the car is some slight lacquer peel on the top of the rear quarter. Also a spot rust make on the rear tail gate. Both not visible unless you’re looking for them.And there are 3 small dents on the bonnet. No damage to the paint. All in all a great, fun car which is only going up in value. I’m open to all swaps, P/X & offers. Thank you for viewing 🙂

I had the cage fitted and bucket seats out of a 306 xsi track car (also being sold) It runs and drives great, but its not mot’d and I’m selling as spares or repair. Battery is dead, but put a jump pack on and it starts first time. Good strong pulling engineGreat 6 speed gearboxBeing a GTI-6 it handles superb and goes well. I’ve not used it for a couple of years but it’s great fun, you have more fun in this than someone in a 911 for less money than a 911 tyre. Get a few mates, chip in and have a go, no one has to worry about bending their pride and joy. I also have a 306 xsi that I’m listing, had the xsi first but this was an easier way to increase power. Here is my Peugeot 306 GTI6 for sale. As you can see from the photos, it’s pretty much spotless. The exterior is finished in original Peugeot blaze yellow. It has covered 129,800 miles from new with a full service history. It has 4 Michelin Pilot tyres all round, new brembo discs and pads at the front. New genuine Peugeot catalytic converter and backbox just fitted. All completely standard throughout. I’ve just had the underside waxoiled and Shultz has been applied. There’s no damage to the exterior at all. The engine is perfect- I owned this car previously in 2002 when it had covered 40,000 and it still sounds and acts the exact same way now. It had a cambelt at 100k. The interior is in good condition for a 22 year old Peugeot! Slight wear on the drivers seat but certainly not anything but nice. I upgraded the stereo to a DAB with hands free phone and bluetooth connectivity. Comes with 12 months MOT. Only fault to mention is the aircon doesn’t work (standard 306 fault) Must be one of the best GTI6’s left. If you’re looking at these you probably know all about them so I don’t need to go on about how rare they are becoming. Viewing and inspection welcome and recommended. Car situated near Lincoln.
